Allah humma salli ‘ala Muhammed
Ya Rabi salli ‘alayhi wa sallim In Qeela zurtum bi ma raj’atum
Ya akramal khalqi ma nakulu
Kulu raj’ana bi kulli khayrin
Waj tam’al far’u wal ‘usulu
Lawlaaka ya zeenatal wujudee
Ma thaba ‘ayshee wa la wujudee
Wala tarannamtu fi salaatee
Wala rukuee wa la sujudee
Ayaala ya lir riddaa ‘alayna
‘Udee li yah darra minka ‘udee
‘udee ‘alayna bi kulli khayrin
Bil Mustafa tayyibil judoodee
Thummas salaatu ‘ala nabeena
Wa aali hir rukka is-sujudee
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammed,
O my Lord, send blessings upon him and peace.
If it is said: You have visited him (the Prophet h), with what have you returned?
O the Most Merciful of creation what should we say?
Say: We have returned with every good and the origin and source of all things.
If you were not, O the beauty of existence,
Neither my life nor my existence would be good.
And nor would I have recited with a beautiful voice in any salaah
Nor in my rukoo or sajdah
O concealed happiness return to us
So our dry sticks may become green.
Return to us with every good
For the sake of the Messenger of Allah h, the one with pure linage
Then blessings upon our Prophet h and his family
Those that make rukoo and sajdah

Chand suraj na theh asmaan jab na thah
Raze haq bhee kisee par ayaa jab na thah
Thab na thah kuch yaha

And the world had not been
When the blackness of space
Was not there to be seen
There was nothing at all
Not even a trace
No creation at all
There was only Your Face
Pawnche meraj mein arsh taq mustafa
Jab na mabood aur bande mein parda raha
Tab malaik ne hazrat se juk kar kaha
Sari makhluk mein
Haq numa thoo hi thoo The time when there was neither land nor the world, nor moon, sun or the sky, [and] when truth was not known to anyone. At that time there was nothing except You [God].
There is no one like You and that is Your Grandeur, O The Unique One, You are the imagination and inquisitiveness, You are the wish, You are the light [and] the voice of the heart, You were there, You are there and You will always be there.
